What is the
Philanthropy Lab?
Anyone in society has the capacity to be a philanthropist, but for many the question becomes “How can I/we do this?” or “Where do I/we Start?” The Philanthropy Lab can help answer these questions and provide individuals or communities with the essential tools required to start or grow your philanthropy initiatives.
The Philanthropy Lab has resources and materials that individuals and communities across Zimbabwe can access and use to do this. Through the Philanthropy Lab SIVIO Institute wants to create an avenue to help catalyse and grow community philanthropy in Zimbabwe. We want to provide ease of access to information and resources that will help strengthen community giving. SIVIO also wants to help to broaden participation in philanthropy in Zimbabwe beyond the few corporate organisations or wealthy individuals. With the right support and information anyone can become an active agent in addressing their development challenges in their local space or community.
